I put the first coat of paint on. Have I mentioned I finally got a random orbital sander? Cool thing! I have found that proper sanding is very important. Whatever isn't even before putting a stain or paint coat on you will have to fix up later in the middle of it. I'm still fixing things up while I am already painting. It's rather frustrating but my impatience wins still quite a bit. I am sure over time I will learn my lesson. It still looks ok i think :)
